Is it possible to crack WPA2?

I am learning a lot about security, penetration testing with bactrack and I wan't to get good at this maybe one day i'll be a security expert. At the moment I know how to crack WEP and I have heard that WPA PSK TKIP is crackable only by brute forcing the 4 way handshake, probably not correct there i am still new to this.
