Why does a finch not eat the milo in my bird feeder?

I'm going to take this question seriously, and hoping you are talking about the seed. If you are talking about the seed, because it is poor nutritional value, and the bird may be lacking in some nutritional areas. Not many birds will eat milo seeds.
